About US
Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Open White Design was set up by Dave Catley, whose experience in the events technical industry spans over 20 years in a variety of individual and touring shows.
Whilst specialising in lighting design, Dave has always maintained a multi-discipline skill set, working with other departments to aid inter-departmental integration.
DESIGN LED SOLUTIONS
We treat every show individually, and this process starts with a detailed analysis of the design brief:
- What is the concept of the show?
- What message do you want to deliver?
- What is the premise of the event?
This insight then allows us to focus on delivering your vision throughout the project. We then look at all the other factors involved – scale, setting, audience, timescale, personnel, other technical departments and of course, budget. Combining all of these with the analysis of the brief, we then get creative and bring together a winning concept for your show.
This is always the foundation on which we implement the job.
